What does the Profitability report show?

The Profitability Report per mill are all estimates by Fastmarkets, mainly based on publicly available information. Please read the Fastmarkets cost benchmarking methodology.

• Operating expense is a sum of these three: Delivery (if selected), Selling expense, Overhead.
• SG&A and Inventory includes: Operating expenses, Taxes, Inventory cost.
• If you include delivery to the cost simulation, Delivery cost is shown separately below Gross profit. If delivery is included, it will be deducted from the SG&A cost. The difference comes from taxes, if no delivery, mill would show higher taxable income which means more taxes. 

We recommend to add delivery, however, due to our total cost methodology, please keep in mind that the SG&A figure will be affected by adding delivery costs
