Exchange prices in the price chart widget

You can add exchange prices which only update once daily such as the LME Officials or Comex Copper Settlement to the Price Chart widget in the same way as other widgets. 

Click the “Widget action” button, then “Edit Widget”. Use the Search to find LME Aluminium official prices by choosing Source first. 

Type “LME” and select the filter “Source:LME”. 

Then for the Commodity, type "Aluminium" and select the filter “Commodity: Aluminium”. 

The example above shows how you can add the LME Aluminium Cash Official price to instruments already displaying on the chart. To view multiple Y axis, click on the Settings button and click Multiple Axis.

You can also view LME FX rates in a Price Chart Widget. In the Global Search, select Source: LME, and the keyword “Official” and then either Euro, Yen or Pound. You can of course also view this data in a Multi Price Table, a Historical Table or a Price Chart. The data is shown in the BID field. To download to Excel, click on the Export Options button.

To chart exchange prices which have an Open, High, Low and Close price (and will provide intra- day and historical prices depending on your level of access) please use and refer to the Live Chart widget section below.

Please note, it is not possible to export to Excel with formulae for exchange prices. Similarly, exchange prices cannot be converted to different currencies/units of measure. If you try to change the currency/unit in this Multi Price Table, for example you will encounter this warning message.
