The Forged Steel Calculator enables you to calculate a should cost value for your own custom grades and chemical compositions. It provides the ability to:
- Enter your own custom grades and compositions with the ability to adjust the composition and see the impact to intrinsic value
- Select geographical region which adjusts the Fastmarkets prices assessments for the raw materials cost
- Convert prices, surcharges and costs into chosen currency
- Select dimensions and furnace type
- Enter tonnage
- View the cost breakdown (labour, As-cast, SG&A, Capex/Interest Expenditure & Inventory handling/logistics)
- View a final should cost value in US Dollar and your chosen currency per Tonne
